The Unavoidable Darkness

This brightened image was very darker than you see now. That is from last night, not from last centuries; because my cousin and his cell phone camera are not contemporary with Ghajar Dynasty! We have been groped between bad consuming of people and bad plannings of power administration and government. There are same scheduled darkness’s all over of Iran.

The Nest

Recently I cannot open the window, because a pigeon (or a kind of bird like pigeon, named Yakarim in Persian) has nestled at the margin of that, and she lies over her two eggs (another egg has been just added newly).
I am not eager to disturb my new neighbor!

Earth Day

It is Earth Day. This is the merged image of my brother's acrobatic moving on the prairie, in April 1st that is new solar year's 13th day (13 Bedar, Onuchunju Gun or the Nature Day).

The Sparrow and Cherry Blooms

There is a sparrow between cherry blooms. I wanted to take a photo from it; afterward, It was hard to find the bird; is it visible for you?!

The Land of Fire

The last 3 Wednesdays’ evenings of solar year is called “Od Günü Axşamı” or “Çərşəmbə Axşamı” in Turkish, and “Chaharshanbeh Souri” in Persian. Folkloric ceremonies of these days recently have been replaced by too dangerous fireworks (Or street cracking) in Tehran! That was not endurable for me! Indeed, I escaped from Tehran this week. Old traditions as jumping over the fire are already being saved in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan’s other name is “Odlar Yurdu” means “The Land of Fire”.

The Bank Counter

It is 3 days to New Year and Iranian banks are too busier than markets. This counter is especially for women, but men have occupied it absolutely! Of course, there are not any women in the bank, and then the men are innocent.

The Long Sleeve T-Shirt!!

It is 3 days to upcoming spring and Solar Hijri New Year (1387). Tehran clothing markets are very busy. I saw these shirts yesterday. ‘T-shirt’ is an imported word from English, in Persian, but there has been written a label in Persian, meaning ‘Long sleeve T-shirts’!!



Oh! That is not funny completely! Because of exception in Wikipedia:
